  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese divided

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey/chicken
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese remaining
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the shredded zucchini with salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the zucchini using a clean kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. Combine drained zucchini, eggs, Parmesan cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Grease a baking dish and press zucchini mixture into the bottom.
  6. Bake the crust for 20 minutes until set and lightly browned.
  7. Brown the ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Add pizza sauce, green bell pepper, mushrooms, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the baked crust.
  10. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
  11. Bake again for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Allow cooling before slicing and serving.
