Preparation Steps
- Rinse the rice under cold water in a fine-mesh sieve until the water runs clear.
- Melt butter in a medium pot over medium heat and sauté the rinsed rice for 2-3 minutes.
- Add water, salt, lemon zest, lemon juice, and turmeric to the pot; stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork and garnishing with parsley.
