  • 3 cups Water for cooking rice

  • 1 each Lemon Zest use fresh lemons
  • 1 each Lemon Juice use fresh lemons
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric optional
For Garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse the rice under cold water in a fine-mesh sieve until the water runs clear.
  2. Melt butter in a medium pot over medium heat and sauté the rinsed rice for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add water, salt, lemon zest, lemon juice, and turmeric to the pot; stir to combine.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork and garnishing with parsley.
