  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Oil or regular sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger freshly grated or ground
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes to taste

  • optional tablespoons Sesame Seeds for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Sauté the broccoli florets for 3-4 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
  3. Cook the ground beef with minced garlic for 5-6 minutes until mostly browned.
  4. Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, toasted sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  5. Pour sauce over cooked ground beef and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Return sautéed broccoli to skillet and toss gently to combine and heat through.
  7. Serve over rice or noodles, garnishing with sesame seeds if desired.
