Method
 

Grilling Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F to 400°F.
  2. Remove the leaves and bottom stem from the cauliflower head.
  3. Slice the cauliflower head vertically into four thick steaks, about 1-inch thick each.
  4. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with mild-tasting oil.
  5. Grill each side for about 5-6 minutes until you see grill marks and a charred appearance.
  6. Check the tenderness of your cauliflower steaks with a fork, grill covered if more cooking is needed.
  7. Remove the steaks from the grill and brush each with mayonnaise, sprinkle with chili powder and crumbled Cotija cheese.
  8. Finish with lime juice over the topped steaks and serve warm with fresh cilantro.
