Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the Orzo: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add orzo and cook until al dente, about 8–9 minutes. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté the Shrimp: Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté half the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and curled. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Incorporate Garlic and Spinach: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Gradually add spinach, stirring until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Combine Pasta and Seasoning: Return the shrimp to the skillet with orzo, reserved pasta water, and lemon juice and zest. Mix gently to coat.
  5. Final Touches: Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
