Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions, forming loose balls.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add cooking oil. Let the oil heat for about 2 minutes.
  4. Place the chicken balls into the skillet and let them cook for about 1 minute undisturbed.
  5. Use a spatula to press down on each chicken ball, flattening them to about ½ inch thick. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. Add cheese on top during the last minute if desired.
  7. Toast your hamburger buns in a separate pan with some butter or oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing a cooked patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
  9. Serve immediately while warm.
