  1. Place deveined shrimp and fresh scallops in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss to coat and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add scallops without overcrowding. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  3. Lower heat, add unsalted butter to the skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  4. Gently add seared scallops back to the skillet. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to coat. Heat through for 1 minute.
  5. Transfer to serving plates and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately with sides such as garlic bread, rice, or salad.
