- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion and minced garlic, about 6-8 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Mix in crumbled bacon.
- Grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish and layer the beef mixture at the bottom. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese and bacon on top.
- Whisk together eggs and heavy cream until smooth, mix in half of the remaining cheese, then pour over beef mixture.
- Top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon.
