Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey) with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the seasonings are evenly distributed into the meat.
  2. Transfer the seasoned meat into your crockpot and set it to high. Brown the meat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until it’s nicely cooked through and no longer pink.
  3. Add elbow macaroni, kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, chili with beans, beef broth, and chili seasoning to the crockpot. Stir everything together.
  4. Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat. Allow the mixture to cook for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. In the last 15 minutes of cooking, open the lid and incorporate the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese into the mix.
  6. Once the cheeses are fully melted and blended, serve hot right from the crockpot.
