Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and chopping your vegetables. Thinly slice the cabbage, mushrooms, and green onions. Mince the garlic and ginger finely.
  2. In a large pan or wok, pour in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and place it over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to heat until it shimmers.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add 1 pound of ground beef. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to break it into smaller pieces while it cooks. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until it turns brown.
  4. After browning the beef, stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Next, toss in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and chopped cabbage. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the cabbage is tender-crisp.
  6. Pour in 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce, stirring to combine. Let the stir fry cook for an additional minute.
  7. Remove the pan from heat and serve immediately over cauliflower rice.
