Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Slice each potato 1/8 inch apart but do not cut all the way through.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter and olive oil over medium heat. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture over each sliced potato and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake the potatoes for 45 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle breadcrumbs and Parmesan over each potato, and bake for another 15 minutes.
  7. Once golden and crispy, sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top just before serving.
  8. Serve hot alongside your favorite dishes.
