Roll and Cut
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Roll out the dough to 1/4-inch thick. Cut out shapes, ensuring to cut half with a smaller center cut-out.
Bake
  1. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
Assemble and Serve
  1. Spread a layer of fruit jam on solid cookies and top with cut-out cookies. Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
