Prepare Twists
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine chopped spinach and Parmesan. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle about 1/8 inch thick on a floured surface.
- Cut pastry into 1-inch-wide strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Place a spoonful of filling on one end of each strip, fold over, and twist into a spiral shape.
- Brush each twist with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until twists are golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
