- Heat the oil in a large deep pan over medium heat. Add chopped shallots and sauté until soft, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and red chili flakes, sauté for an additional minute.
- Pour in white wine, scraping the bottom of the pan. Cook until the alcohol evaporates, about 2-3 minutes.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook gnocchi according to package instructions, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the mixture to medium heat, add tomato paste and Italian seasoning. Pour in 200 ml of water and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Lower heat, add cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Fold in cooked gnocchi and flaked smoked salmon, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Plate the dish and garnish with fresh dill. Serve hot.
