Step-by-Step Instructions for Creamy Salmon Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add bite-sized pieces of salmon to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes until opaque and slightly browned.
  4. Lower the heat and mix in cottage cheese with a splash of reserved pasta water. Cook for about 2 minutes until creamy.
  5. Add the drained pasta and toss gently with the sauce, adding more reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Heat through for 2-3 minutes and serve immediately.
