Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and cut them into uniform quarters. Slice the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the quartered potatoes and sliced sausage. Sprinkle in the ranch seasoning and mix well to coat everything evenly.
  3. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or oil. Arrange the potato and sausage mixture in the dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Generously sprinkle freshly shredded cheddar cheese over the entire top of the potato and sausage mixture.
